Club de Atletismo Artyneon, with the collaboration of Getafe City Council, organises the 27th Getafe City International Half Marathon.
Anyone may take part regardless of condition, gender or nationality, provided they are 18 years old on the day of the event.
Participation is limited to 6,000 runners.
By completing registration, the participant declares that they are in optimal physical condition to take part in the sporting event and accepts these rules.
Once registration has been completed, the fee will not be refunded except to those who purchased cancellation insurance.
The runner may transfer their bib using the link received after registration, with a €3 processing fee.
Bib transfers cannot be made after 30 December.

Trophies may be cumulative. There will be trophies for the top 3 overall finishers in both men's and women's categories, and a trophy for the first local male and female runner registered in Getafe.

There will also be a €50 prize for the first male and female runner in each category. Attendance at the prize and trophy ceremony is mandatory to retain the right to the prize.
Performance bonuses will be cumulative with overall classification prizes. Payment will depend on receipt of anti-doping control results.

All participants will be covered by collective accident insurance and must follow the instructions of the organisation, volunteers, technicians, judges, accredited staff and public-address announcements.
By accepting the rules, the participant authorises the organisation to take photographs or recordings of their participation and use them to promote and publicise the race.
All participants, by starting the race, accept the rules and release the organisation from liability for loss of personal items or other circumstances covered in the document.

A fast, fully certified urban course.
A single lap through the streets of Getafe, starting next to Estadio Juan de la Cierva and finishing inside the stadium.
The race will be timed using an electronic chip on the bib. The timing system will be RFEA-certified.
The course will be a single lap over 21.097 km on an urban route certified by the Spanish Athletics Federation.

Answers to the most common questions about registration, bibs, runner services and race organisation.
You can transfer your bib to another person using the link received after registration. The transfer has a €3 processing fee. Bib transfers cannot be made after 30 December 2026.
Yes. The time limit to complete the Getafe City Half Marathon is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The organisation may also establish control points along the course.
Platform management fees are not included in the registration price.
Once registration has been completed, the fee will not be refunded except to those who purchased cancellation insurance. With insurance, a refund may be requested according to the deadlines set out in the rules.

Collection times are Friday, 29 January 2027 from 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday, 30 January 2027 from 10:00 to 20:00.
Your bib number will be sent by email a few days before the race.
To collect the bib, you must present your registration confirmation or ID document.
If you are a runner from outside the Region of Madrid, you may exceptionally collect your bib on Sunday, 31 January 2027, from 8:15 to 10:00, at the Juan de la Cierva sports centre, opposite the start area.
If you are a runner from the Region of Madrid and cannot attend the fair, you must provide written authorisation for another person to collect the bib and runner bag on your behalf.
Yes. Runners must state their estimated time during registration so they can access the start box corresponding to their time and ensure a smoother start for all participants.
Yes. The race will have pacers for different paces. Planned times are: 1:20, 1:25, 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55 and 1:59:59.
Yes. We provide a free bag drop service for all registered runners.
Yes. You can book medal engraving when registering. If you do not do it then, you can also request it on race day for €10.
